Hi there,
I'm a resident in the Clanbrassil Street area (I'm also studying as a History postgraduate in UCD). I got the booklet through my door a little while ago, and I'm really interested in hearing more about the project - will there be an exhibition or publication at the project's conclusion?
best,
Karl

HI Karl,
many thanks for your comment. As Writer in Residence on the project I have been doing a series of creative writing workshops with 10 - 12 year olds who live in the Clanbrassil Street Area and looking at the concept of 'home' against the backdrop of the changing landscape of the street itself. My work will culminate early next month in a pictureworks campaign (thepictureworks.com) which will run throughout Dublin City and which we hope will coincide with an installation on the street itself. There will also be a booklet published which will give an account of my approach to the project and which will featuring some creative writing excerpts from the workshops.
I will post the details of the dates for the installation and publication when I have them.
Many thanks for your interest in the project.

Cheers Ursula, that all sounds really good. The installation on the street sounds really interesting too. Thanks for letting me know.
best, Karl
